Designer and former BYOBW participant Chris Sherrod whipped out the 2024 sticker this year. He rocks.

Things to note:

Young people, preferred under 13 years old (with adult supervision or permission) have their own hour to use the street from 2pm-3pm before the adults get their time to make utter fools of themselves. Some of these riders may be very little and accompanied by their guardians via a tether or sitting together. Be respectful and give them space during this time. We are reserving this hour for the little ones no matter how few we have so we will not begin the regular adult rides until the 3pm. Please make sure you have signed a rider waiver for your youngin’ and understand that you assume all responsibility for your child’s safety.

  • THERE IS NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING AND NO PROMOTIONAL ADVERTISING / PRODUCT PLACEMENT ALLOWED
  • THERE ARE NO SOUND SYSTEMS ALLOWED IN THE PARK OR STREET CLOSURE UNLESS PERMITTED

We love donations via Venmo or Paypal (send as a gift or to frens n fam) and you can always throw down cash at the event. Unfortunately costs continue to rise and our no-frills event has gone from costing around  $8500 in 2019 to nearly $13K this year. We are determined to keep this event free for those who need it as well as free of corporate branding and product advertising. That means this event is truly powered by YOU dear riders, and my side gigs petsitting, and of course our favorite long time donor Bob!

We’d also love some donations to go to Penny For A Change , the amazing people who help us source, transport and take away the hay bales (actually, they are grass!). Penny For A Change is a non-profit who help low income youth learn about horse riding and equine care. If you put in your donation notes “For Penny” or “For the horses” or if you only speak emoji then put a horse and we’ll make sure they get the funds.
